THE PRACTICE
SAVVYE is a Dallas-based neo-abstract expressionist artist whose work turns emotional pressure into form through painting, drawing, layering, scraping, rupture, asymmetry, and visible repair.
BACKGROUND
Born in 1967, SAVVYE is a Black American artist and disabled veteran whose practice is shaped by late-diagnosed autism, ADHD, dyslexia, PTSD, cPTSD, synesthesia, and a lifelong distruct of institutions that demand conformity before belonging.
